(certified by Ayu-Me/Society of Friends)
17th-25th August
Dernburgstrasse 47, 14057 BERLIN
Though the science of Ayurveda and Yoga require years of study – even life-long - it is inspiring and nourishing to start the journey with trusted teachers who have extensive years of experience in this field.
Manuela Heide de Jahnsen and Beate Friede collectively have been working, lecturing, teaching, practicing in the fields of Therapy, Yoga Instruction, Nutrition, Yoga Therapy, Ayurvedic Medicine and Therapy, Pranayama, Trauma Therapy, and Massage Therapy for over 35 years.
The 9 Day Intensive Course is designed as a complete introduction to the stunning world of Ayurvedic/Yogic Therapy in Motion:
A combination of Ayurveda with the practical application of Yoga Therapy according to the Doshas (3 body types) and the 3 gunas (emotional psychological states)and the personal needs of the patient/student.
This workshop will teach you how the pathways of the breath, through the Gates of Vayu (the access gates of the body), are essential to understanding the hidden treasures of Yogic practice.
Because of the small and strictly limited group of students (max 8 students), we will focus on your own individual practice and will have enough time to answer all your questions. It is essential that student and teacher are able to develop a close and trustful relationship. The breathing exercises need particularly close and safe observation.
The days will be filled with practice, practical application of your new knowledge, self-practice and one-on-one counseling as well as the chance to teach the whole group. Be prepared to slip out of Berlin’s summer days into an intense inner journey to improve your own practice and develop a new field for work based on the ancient science of Yoga and Ayurveda.
The course will be in English and German, therefore, concise knowledge of both languages is required.
Healthy Ayurvedic food will be prepared daily.
